Waggon and Horses, Langsett

After the Mr. Fox extravagant fire dance I found time to give one of my October themed pieces a new home

Mr Fox, Langsett

On the Saturday that is nearest the full moon before 5th November the Langsett Fox Dance is held. I was there and the place was hit with yarnie love

At rest before the placing
Placed on one of the posts to keep the hoards controlledHurrah - It has been sighted

Heeley, Sheffield

So today I started
On the bridge that crosses the Sheaf, it's a graffiti place with loads on the walls but no lovely knitting to adorn and beautify the place
But now it has been knitted prettyThe heart only lasted a few hours though, I put it up this morning and by 6 it had gone - hopefully by someone who wanted to give a heart and spread some love

The Project

I am going to cover the world with yarnie, knitted love.

Small knitted joys will adorn buses, trains, benches, seats, all public places.

We live in a big bad world that is becoming harder - the greed of nations and individuals are damaging us all. Honesty, bravery, patience, understanding, tolerance and reason are under threat with conformity, consumerism and selfishness taking their place.

Take a stand and stop this - make people smile and spread love to all
